Plot."So the plot: - There is a Book where every creature's destiny is written including gods. Once smth is written it can't be changed. - Since it is a very powerful artifact the Book is kept in one of the realems guarded by the original gods. - In other realems there are priests who possess a power to summon those gods (which is not done very often 'cause BIGANGRYCREATURES) - Durza (as always ) is Loki's "right hand".
Norn predicts Loki that no matter what he does he'll end in the cave under a serpent. And then he has this brilliant idea of destroying the book itself. Then everyone becomes fateless. He goes to a priest which at the moment is Marique. He offers her a deal - his blood for her ability to enter the book's realem. A blood of a god voluntarily given creates a bond in which - a giver becomes some kind of a slave - the other person can't be injured without a thrall being hurt too (and this connectiong doesn't work back - kill Loki - witch won't give a shit) - the one who gets blood gets also the powers of it's owner That is why Marique accepts the deal so easily - true, she is a witch but never will she be as powerful as a god. Envious and greedy, she attempts to decieve Loki deciding to use him as her slave till let's say Ragnarok.
Because of the bond Thor can't kill her and she offers him a deal as well - if Thor brings her three innocent human hearts she releases Loki. This is VERY hard fo Thor. He is a protector of Midgard, he loves his people and now he is to murder them - that's where all the crying at the beginning comes from. But as he proceeds it changes him and becomes easier. At last he returns to Marique with a ransom. The witch didnot believe that Thor would make such sacrifice but know she has to keep her word as deals are sacred. Still she doesn't want to let them go so easily but as she releases Loki all his powers return to him and Thor can finally has his revenge. When the witch is dead due to the bloodbond her abilities as a prist drain into Loki and he doesnot hesiate in using them. Thor unawere of his true plans is like "wtf now brother?" and when Loki offers him to rule the new world together he even changed by murders says no (as much as I love evil Thor still "LOKINO" here ) The rest I believe is pretty clear
